Steve's career was launched at JWT, New York under the tutelage of the famous fiction writer, James Patterson. There, he touched almost every brand from Scott's toilet paper to DeBeers diamonds, until his work for Malibu Rum won the agency their first gold lion for print. Steve then moved to Grey, New York to be a creative director, and soon thereafter, an executive creative director, where over the next 13 years he helped lead the agency through its creative turnaround. He shortlisted at the Academy Awards with a digital short film for Canon, introduced the E*TRADE baby into the world and helped lead their massive Gillette account win. Steve then moved to the brand side as the Chief Creative Officer of the Wonderful Agency in LA. The Wonderful Agency is the in-house agency of the highly successful Wonderful Company. Privately owned and run by billionaire marketing geniuses, Stewart and Lynda Resnick. The experience of having worked with them greatly widened his perspective on advertising and marketing. Following The Wonderful Agency, Steve reunited with an old colleague back in New York to be the Deputy CCO of his independent shop, The BAM Connection. There, he helped BAM win several new businesses, including First Response, RepHresh, Replens, Envive Probiotic and Riunite Wine. He also led the agency to win its first Clio as well as a host of other awards. Most recently, Steve was at FCB, NY where his creative leadership was instrumental in retaining the Centrum account with a big idea which helped them gain market dominance, globally. He also helped lead the Florida Blue health insurance account, where their campaign work has proven to be some of the most effective and inspiring work to date.
